BIOGRAPHY

I developed a love for sport and fitness at an early age. I am an athlete who enjoys many sports (basketball, volleyball, softball, racquetball), an outdoor enthusiast (hiking, backpacking), an artist (painting, illustration), and a graphic designer, as well. My lifelong dedication to fitness drove me to become a certified personal trainer and one of my goals is to share this love of exercise and fitness with my clients.

I earned a Bachelors degree in painting from the University of New Hampshire in 1995. Painting and drawing are extremely important to me as they are a major part of who I am. Because I also enjoy working with diverse kinds of people and love teaching, coaching and helping others achieve physical fitness, I studied to become a certified personal trainer. I earned my certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 2004. Since then, I have been training males and females of all ages, both within the health club environment and outside, training private, in-home clients.

(Ayla, who is in excellent physical condition as a result of our many adventures in the mountains, enjoys chasing squirrels and birds, greeting the mailman and other passersby with tail wags and sloppy kisses, and just simply "hanging out" with a nice chunk of rawhide.)
